Because you have shown no restraint and a tendency toward disobedience, you have revealed your heritage. Yes, you are related to two people from long ago named Adam and Eve who did the very same thing. You see, they were told they could freely eat of ANY tree in the Garden of Eden, EXCEPT one tree.

Well, you know the rest of the story. Just like you, they CHOSE to disobey. The Bible calls disobedience, sin.  As a result, sin, and all the consequences that come with it, entered the world. The worst consequence is death and separation from God forever.

You are not alone...
The Bible also says that all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and that there is none that is completely righteous (Romans 3:10). Nothing YOU do can make you right with God (Ephesians 2:8-9)

There is a remedy...
We would have had to suffer the consequences of our sin for eternity. But God in His infinite grace and mercy has provided a remedy for our sin (Romans 5:8). Jesus Christ CHOSE Himself to suffer the consequences of ALL our sin after living a sinless life on this earth almost 2000 years ago.

You must Believe...
This remedy is only given to those who wish to RECEIVE it. Sin's penalty is death, but God's GIFT is eternal life through Jesus Christ (Romans 6:23).

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16
